Agile Foundation Exam

  • The third day of the course
  • Multiple choice format
  • 60 questions per paper
  • 30 marks required to pass (out of 60 available) - 50%
  • 60 minutes duration (75 minutes for non-native speakers)
  • Closed-book.

Agile Practitioner Exam

  • The last day of the course
  • "Objective Testing" format of scenario, question and answer booklet
  • 4 questionsper paper, 15 marks available per question
  • 30 marks required to pass (out of 60 available) - 50%
  • Two hours duration (Two hours and 30 minutes for non-native speakers)
  • Open book (restricted to the manual only) examination.


There is no pre-requisite required at the start of this course, however in order to continue onto the Practitioner exam, a pass is required at Foundation.

Pre-course preparation

It is recommended to follow the guidance provided for pre-course studying within about 20 hours. Agile Manual, Study Guide, Interactive CD and e-support are part of the course. The course, all materials and exams are in English.


David is an accredited PRINCE2®, MSP®, Agile PM, MoV® and MoP® trainer.
He has 30 years' strategic management, Portfolio, Programme and Project (PPM) and business development experience. He is Managing Director of CUPE Ltd, an APMG Accredited Project Management Training and Consulting Company. David is an APMG Registered Consultant, completing consultancy & business transformation assignments, introducing best practice & value approaches to PPM.
David is an APMG accredited and re-accredited trainer in many PPM subjects, and combines managerial experience with a passion for best practice. As well as providing the first MoV training to MITA, he has trained PPM and MoV subjects in many countries, such as Belgium, France, Germany, USA, Mexico, Malysia, Nigeria and so on.
Before establishing CUPE, David developed his extensive management background, working for over 10 years in health, in a number of challenging management positions in the UK and overseas; latterly as Director, British Forces Germany Health Services, a Chief Executive level post carrying responsibility for an Anglo German healthcare system, serving 60,000 British Servicemen and families; as well as 7 years as a University Lecturer, and over 10 years in PPM training.
